Ryu Mi-o‘s career got off to one fairly impressive start in 2000 when she landed one of the ultra-Skinful roles in the Crazy-Guy-With-A-Penchant-for-Sadomasochism-and-a-Thing-For-the-Girl-Next-Door South Korean chiller-thriller feature The Shackle. (What an appropriate title!) Along with the likes of Ha Jae-young and Wu Ji-eun, Ms. Ryu lends her fantastic clothing-challenged body to many a Skin Scene in the flick, including some rather convincing sex scenes complete with her more-than-ample breasts bouncing back-and-forth to beat the band. Naturally, the plot is fairly convoluted (It is a South Korean thriller, after all…) but one hardly notices due to the rampant nudity and gratuitous violence. We just can’t think of two better reasons to see a flick, so be sure to give it a look. For sheer, mindless Skintertainment, this movie can’t be beat. Ryu Mi-o hasn’t made it back onto the Silver Screen since then, unfortunately, so let’s all collectively hope for her to make a return to her Skinful ways sooner than later. It can’t hurt…
